NASSCOM product conclave – Day 2
by Karthik on Oct.29, 2009, under Uncategorized
Well, the NASSCOM conference ended yesterday. The indiblogger team was there to attend some of the sessions and the speeches. We were tweeting about the events and speakers live – which you guys might have already followed.
Day 2 was not as eventful as day 1. Guy Kawasaki was leading a twitter session explaining how to use twitter. The session was quite basic and I believe all those who are new to twitter had a great deal to info to take home. However, for advanced users the session was boring and some people actually started walking out!
Since we didn’t find too many interesting sessions yesterday, we stayed by the poolside networking with few product companies and some social media companies.
Also we visited the expos and learned about some interesting products that are yet to be launched and some of them just new to India. You can find more information on some of these products here at Indiblogger official blog.
We had left a little early post lunch so we can get back productive with our work after 2 full days of conference, discussions and networking.
I need to mention this though too – The Indiblogger team members were actually attending the meet with new Indiblogger T-shirts that read “INDIAN by birth; BLOGGER by choice”. And this attracted a lot of companies and people to find us and network with us easily. That T-shirt was a hit!

Cheers to indiblogger! Don’t you think with all the discussions on twitter for business its gone a bit on an overkill?
Yeah, twitter has the potential; just been an information overload!

Well, in that way, so is facebook. But, still you get enough people to follow you, you can market what ever you want.
