Cool Stuff

December list

by on Dec.18, 2009, under Bangalore, Cool Stuff, Party

OK, I really wanted to write something as I haven’t posted in a long while. So I have decided to write about a few different things that I’m looking forward to do this month.. in no particular order.

1) Looking forward for the beach house party at Nagarcoil. Except for Anoop I believe the entire gang is gonna be available for a blast! (More on this later)

2) To watch Avatar in 3D. Couldn’t get tickets for today so hopefully after I come back from my very short vacation, I’ll watch it.

3) Prepare to clear my house at Bangalore and shift my base to Chennai – keeping in mind it has to be no longer than necessary (More on this later).

4) Watch Indiblogger logo advertised first time on TV! (More on this later)

5) Last but not least, bid goodbye to this year 2009 and pray that this year never comes back.

So these are things that I’ll be doing this December. Will get back with elaborate details on this as and when it happens. For now, I have satisfied my thought to post something on my blog.

Cheers!

by on Nov.05, 2009, under Cool Stuff, Entertainment

Yo people! Doctor Who: The waters of Mars will air on 15th November at 7:00 pm on BBC one channel. This is the 2 special this year following “The planet of the dead”. David Tennant as the doctor and a new companion Adalaide.

The waters of mars

We have waited a long time now for this special and the next series. Finally the date is revealed. If you are in UK, dont miss the episode on 7th. And if you are in India, dont miss to download it half a day after for India does not air that episode on the same day… not even the same year damn it!

Also the DVD with all the specials of this year will be released in Febuary 2010. Dont forget to buy that either.

And The next Doctor who animated 6 part series is airing from November 21st 09. Each episode lasting 6 minutes it will be aired on consecutive dates.

Wish you all a happy time travel!

Fosters Art of Chilling Party was amazing

by on Jul.01, 2009, under Bangalore, Cool Stuff, Events, Indiblogger, Party

Last Sunday Fosters had organized the Art of chilling party once again in Bangalore and it rocked. It was at the Mercure Homestead Residence, Koramangala. It was a pool side party and the weather was just right for the barbecue as well. The indiblogger team attended the party as well. Anwin, Nafisa and I were present at the party by 1:00. Naveen reached the party before us. Anoop and Diana as well joined us a little later (They had to dodge a wedding bullet ;-) ).

Lots and lots of Beer, babes and barbecue. The 3 Bs I always wanted together. It was a great party and the afternoon was not bad at all. the weather was great and barbecue was decent. The DJs were doing a great job and kept the crowd entertained.  We were just lazing around for a while and I completely lost count of how many beers I had that evening. and I was suppose to travel to Chennai the same night.

The important thing is, Fosters knows how to party and I love their concept of the Art of Chilling.

At around 5:30 the party was over and we left the place. Came back to Anwin’s place and sat there for a while. Then I had to catch the bus to chennai.

PS: Having some technical difficulty in adding images. Will add that ASAP. You can go to Anwin’s or Anoop’s blog for pics till then.

I should be a Science fiction writer

by on Apr.09, 2009, under Books, Cool Stuff, Science

I took a test after I found that in Nicky’s blog. So I took the test too and here is the result.

You Should Be a Science Fiction Writer

Your ideas are very strange, and people often wonder what planet you’re from.

And while you may have some problems being “normal,” you’ll have no problems writing sci-fi.

Whether it’s epic films, important novels, or vivid comics…

Your own little universe could leave an important mark on the world!
